Big news from WikiMobiDex, the world’s largest web-based index of mobile marketing and advertising suppliers!

We just added 40 more company pages into the master listing… everything from from mobile ad servers, to research firms, to mobile PR agencies, app builders, and more.  With this update we’ve pushed the total number of companies on the wiki to over 250! Zowie-wowie!

If that weren’t exciting enough, we’ve finally taken the plunge and made the site ad-enabled, so that companies can not only create a listing on the wiki, but also advertise on it. We’re pretty excited, not only because we actually do need some revenue coming in to keep the lights on, but also because this marks coming of age of sorts for the site that recently celebrated its two year old birthday :)

While you can check out the full offering on the “advertise on us” page on the wiki itself, below is a consolidated view of the site’s sales pitch:

  1. Intent.  Thousands of mobile marketers, media buyers and industry analysts visit the site every month looking for companies like yours… be found!
  2. Scale.  Wikimobidex, the world’s largest mobile marketing supplier reference, boasts an average of 10,000 unique visitors per month, each averaging 3.4 page views.
  3. Audience. 68% of site visitors are Media Planners or Buyers, 11% come from the investment community, 9% from Creative Agencies, 6% are Press and Analysts, 4% are publishers… this is the audience you seek for your mobile marketing services!
  4. Power. High impact units and up to 33% Share of Voice packages are available.  Obviously only to 3 advertisers, though!

That’s all for now.  First come, first served (no pun intended)!  Go to Wikimobidex for more info, including a contact that will hook you up with a spiffy new ad package…
